How did Prinplup get its name?

Prinplup starts with "prince," because he is "regal" in that he is evolved from Piplup. (Prinplup evolves into Empoleon, which sounds like "emperor," a ruler even more powerful than a prince.) "Plup" is from the sound that is made when something "plops" (or "plups") into the water, because Prinplup likes plopping in the water.
